Pumpkin’s first trip to the park

Pumpkin's first trip to the park

I’ve really been looking forward to taking Pumpkin to the park – I knew that she’d love the swings, but we had to wait until she was big enough – and steady enough to actually go on them.

We picked a sunny Sunday morning and headed to the local park. We go walking there quite regularly, often after swims, but this was the first time in the play area. Hubby checked out some of the equipment to make sure it was all okay.

Then it was Pumpkin’s turn. She wasn’t sure about the swings at first – and to be honest, she was probably still a bit too small…

Once she got to swinging, though, she gave us a few little smiles.

She and Daddy-man also had a go on the roundabout.

And there was a saucer-shaped swing that was actually perfect for her, as it meant she didn’t have to sit up.

Lounging, even on the swings. She takes after her mummy. 🙂

I’m looking forward to taking her back when she’s a little bit older. Of course, it won’t be long until she’s running around the park on her own – she’s growing up so fast! *sniff*

What’s your little one’s favourite thing to do at the park?
