This week on plan
It’s been an odd week with Easter and the Bank Holiday. After a gain last week, I was determined to get back on track – although I’ve been far from perfect!
When we had friends ’round Saturday night for pizza, I managed to only have one slice, and I filled up on potato wedges and chicken strips (which are high in syns, but still better than pizza). I even had a big salad to help… and then a very naughty raspberry roulade for dessert.
On Monday, we went for a little exploration and did a good bit of walking, but the rest of the week was pretty sedentary.
Food-wise, I’ve been either very good or very bad. I’m good at meal times, but the rest of the time not so much. I have not been tracking my syns very well either.
My favourite thing I ate this week
A couple of nights ago, I realised I had some syns left over and a punnet of blackberries that needed to be eaten. So, I mixed a white chocolate Options with some Quark and layered it over the blackberries. It was so delicious and I assembled it all in a brandy snifter, so it looked as indulgent as it tasted.
Weigh-in
I lost two pounds this week, which is a great result, considering I haven’t been particularly good. But, it doesn’t make up for last week’s gain.
Next week, I’d like to…
I really want a big loss – I re-joined Slimming World in December, and I’ve not even lost half a stone yet. So, I’m going to say I want to lose 3.5 pounds this week.
I also want to have a good look at my member pack – I realised today that I haven’t looked at the new pack properly since I received it in January.

Oh the white chocolate options and quark sounds like a brilliant idea! I’ll definitely be giving it a go! I still haven’t tried Diet Coke Chicken! Everyone raves about so I’ll have to buy the things I need to try!
