1. Checking the menu at Nando’s. 2. Chewing on…something. 3. Getting ready to try her first shoes at Clark’s. 4. Eating cheese and watching Monsters University. 5. She gets her crazy hair from her daddy. 6. Chewing on her toy ladle. 7. Chewing on my charm bracelet. 8. My Mother’s Day gift: a new Pandora charm. 9. Pumpkin hates leaving toys stacked – building blocks and her ring stacker. I guess a game of Jenga is out of the question.
Out and about
On Sunday, we had another fancy-schmancy brunch at Asda for Mother’s Day. Then, for most of the week, we stayed home, as we’d all come down with an awful cold.
Saturday, we decided to get Pumpkin some proper shoes, since she’s toddling around pretty confidently now. We took her to Clark’s for their First Shoes Experience. I’ll write more about that in another post.
Fun at home
Pumpkin’s really starting to get the hang of walking, so that’s been her main activity at home this week. She’s not fast on her feet, though, so when she wants to go fast, she still crawls.
My happiest moment was…
We’ve started playing a game that I call “I’m gonna get you.” She crawls out of the living room, turns around and giggles at me, then crawls away as fast as she can, giggling again as I chase her down the hall.
This week last year in photos:

1. Trying to push up. 2. Feet poking out of the bottom of the cot. 3. Headed home from the sling library with our new Hana wrap. 4. All dressed up before a trip to London for lunch with a friend. 5. Cuddled up with Daddy-man, watching TV. 6. An uncomfortable sleeping position. 7. Tummy-time with Daddy-man. 8. Snoozing. 9. More time with Daddy.
