1. Watching Sesame Street (note creepy snowman shadow on the left); 2. Standing at her desk, doing a bit of colouring and not *gasp* eating the crayons; 3. The living room was clean less than five minutes before this photo was taken; 4. Action shot of her toddling along the hallway; 5. She was determined to pick every daisy in this field. 6. This is what happens when I leave her with Daddy-man for less than a minute; 7. We clean up pretty well. 8. The sign of a good dessert; 9. Selfie with my pal Lizzy.

Out and about

On Friday, we headed slightly north for a couple of nights in Essex for a cousin’s wedding. It was at a big scouting facility, so there was lots of nature for Pumpkin to explore.

We spent a couple of hours wandering the grounds after we arrived. Her favourite bit was crunching leaves in her hands.

The wedding was on Saturday, so we all got dressed up. Obvs Pumpkin looked the best, but Daddy-man and I cleaned up pretty well too, I think.

Pumpkin enjoyed picking daisies during the gap between the ceremony and the reception. There was a lovely seat all decorated for her at the reception and she enjoyed the dinner – especially the profiteroles for dessert (so did I!!)

Fun at home

Pumpkin is loving walking up and down the hallways outside our flat during the day.

She particularly enjoyed it when she learned how to stamp her foot on the grating by the rubbish shoot. She thinks it makes a great noise. I love watching her stomp – and sometimes she misses the ground, which is very cute.

Time for me

The hotel had a fantastic shower, so I treated myself to a long, hot scrub down.

My favourite moment was…

Dancing with Pumpkin and Daddy-man at the wedding. We only got about half a song in, but it was lovely.
