Out and about

It has been a pretty quiet week around here. I’ve been trying to get ahead of work so that I don’t have to think about it as much while on holiday. The problem is that I’m usually behind, so first I have to get caught up before I can get ahead.

I’ve also been feeling really tired and rundown for the last couple of weeks, so I tried to take it easy this week.

Fun at home

Pumpkin has been having a great time running up around the flat with her toy pram and, whenever the bedroom door is open, hiding behind the curtains – giggling away, of course.

We also regularly get outside for a wander up and down the hallway for some fresh air and sunshine. Pumpkin is really enjoying running after the older kids and she is always so pleased when they stop to play with her (which they regularly do).

Time for me

I had a really long soak in the tub the other day after everyone else was in bed. Listened to a podcast and even treated myself to a facemask.

My favourite moment was…

There have been a couple of really good naps this week…

  5. Well done on the long soak, do you know I have never listened to a podcast? How old does that make me sound???? Thanks for joining in with our #HappyDaysLinky x

    • I don’t think it makes you sound old – I think it’s just not a thing some people do. We’ve found they’re especially good for travelling and long drives. When I used to commute into London, I listened to them a lot. But with the baby around, I don’t get to put my headphones in on public transportation any more. 🙂
