This week on plan

This week, I was feeling really motivated and I wanted to get a good loss this week. So, I decided to mix things up a bit, with six days straight on Extra Easy SP.

It was hard – one of the first times since joining Slimming World that I’ve ever felt like I was actually on a diet. But I think it was good for me too. I needed something to get me out of my comfort zone. It certainly helped me focus on what I was eating a bit more.

I had an enormous fry-up on Monday morning. That was pretty tasty. We also had tasty steaks on Thursday.

1. Bacon and tomato quiche. 2. Taco salad. 3. Chicken curry with sauteed vegetables. 4. Steak with vegetable crush and mushrooms.

Weigh-in

So, what did all that hard work get me? Two pounds off.

Normally, I would be ecstatic over a two-pound loss, but this week – well, I’m disappointed. I worked so hard for this and two pounds feels like a bit of a let down. Especially since I had a gain last week.

SW-update

At least I finally got to add another piece of bunting to my motivation wall. It has been a while…

Next week, I’d like to…

I’m going to keep going with EESP until we go on holiday, although I might take a day off here or there. I’d love to lose three or four. But 1.5 will get me to my half stone.

  1. I’ve heard quite a few people in group talk about disappointing results on SP.

    Some say it just doesn’t work for them, others say it can take until the following week to show up on the scales and few have said that they get better results with just 1 or 2 SP days a week. I’ve not tried it myself yet and not sure I’d really like it very much (although your meals look delish! So maybe I would?)

  2. I have never tried sp yet as i am still getting to grips with the plan , 2lb is still amazing though and you never know you might have a bigger loss this week xx
